SATURDAY 24 NOVEMBER
11.00am Santa and his reindeer fly into town
Santa and his reindeer fly into Bridgend Town Centre and parade around the town before arriving at Santa’s Grotto in Carnegie House, Wyndham Street.
10.30am – 3pm CF31 Christmas Stage, Corvo Lounge, Adare Street
As well as putting on a show for Santa and his reindeer as they pass through Town there will be live entertainment throughout the day.
11.30am – 3pm Visit Santa’s reindeer in Wyndham Street
Visit the reindeer resting in Wyndham Street after the parade before they make their return trip to the North Pole.
4.15pm Christmas light’s switch on
Come and join Father Christmas and see the Town’s festive lights twinkle into life at the Christmas lights switch on in Dunraven Place (outside Barclays Bank).
SATURDAY 1 DECEMBER
10am – 4pm Bridgend Victorian Christmas Wyndham Street, Dunraven Place
Step back in time with Queen Victoria and Charles Dickens as Wyndham Street transforms into a Victorian Christmas scene. Join us for: Storytelling, Christmas Cracker and Pomander Making, Pewter Toy Casting, Chestnut Roaster with Brazier, a Penny Farthing, Musicians and lots more.
SATURDAY 8 DECEMBER
11am – 4pm A White Christmas in Bridgend in Adare Street
There will be a ‘White Christmas in Bridgend’. Join us on Saturday 8th December for a snow filled day. Get inside a giant snow globe and have your photo taken, watch as the magical ice sculpture is carved, enjoy snowy street entertainment and play in the snow flurries on the hour. Free for all the family.
SATURDAY 15 DECEMBER
11am – 4pm A White Christmas Market
Our monthly market is back bigger and better, full of great gifts for friends and family. From bath bombs to local beer and cider, there’s somethig for everyone. For one day only we’ll also be showcasing local arts and crafts, achance to buy unique gifts for yourself or another. Don’t forget they’ll also be plenty of gems on offer in the indoor market.
FRIDAY 21 DECEMBER
11am – 4pm A Welsh Christmas Festival
Christmas events come to a close with a bang … a Welsh bang! On the last Friday and Saturday before Christmas enjoy a truly Welsh Christmas experience filled with craft and food stalls selling unique Welsh gifts and showcasing Welsh food and produce. Santa’s little helpers, our very own Christmas gift wrapping elves, will be on hand to make your presents look super special. What a way to end the Christmas festivities … Nadolig Llawen pawb!
Santa’s Grotto returns to Carnegie House this year with presents for good boys and girls.

Ticket cost: £6 per child, which includes a visit to Santa, an opportunity to take photographs plus a choice of quality gift.
