A brilliant workshop with designer maker Corrie Lewis-Bishop @ceramic67 that introduces you to making a lovely versatile dress called the Grace Dress. An oversized loose dress that can be long, three quarter or short sleeved. We can add pockets if you want them and can make a large range of sizes from small to xxl.
This dress is simple and elegant, if can be layered in winter and loose and floaty in the summer. The skirt is gathered onto a gently curved bodice with grown on sleeves which are finished with bias facing.
You will learn — how to make and add your own bias binding, how to add in seam pockets and gathering a skirt.
You will need to bring — 3 metres of pre washed lightweight linen or cotton. matching thread, your sewing machine, fabric scissors, pins, tape measure
What’s included — pattern, instructions, tuition, sewing paraphernalia and plenty of cake.
