Portraiture Project 2020

Carnegie House is proud to present our new portraiture project ‘Who is Bridgend?’ funded by the Arts Council Wales and Bridgend Town Council.

Join us & get involved in the creation of exciting portraiture for our community!

Our Arts Council funded ‘Who is Bridgend?’ Portraiture Project will be moving online with our Artist in Residence Claire Hiett. We look forward to you all joining in and posting portraits of your local heroes!

We will be working with all our tutors to produce weekly class challenges and recorded demonstrations.

Please stay safe and we look forward to you joining us on our creative journey.

The project run by Artist in Resident Claire Hiett will encourage participants to challenge traditional notions of portraiture and explore a wide variety of outcomes, from drawing, painting and printmaking to recorded stories.

The aim of the project is to work with the local community to celebrate the diversity in Bridgend and create portraiture of people who make this community vibrant.
